[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I posted previously another macro shot of Lambis sp. shell. These beautiful "spider" shells are found in tropical Pacific. This specimen was photographed under available light and the use of a diffusing aluminum folio reflector, on a cloth background, it was later replaced with a petroleum-green BG.

Mehmet hocam merhaba,
Siteye Yumuşakçalar ile güzel bir renk kattınız. Türkiye'den en az fotoğraf eklenen gruplardan birisiydi. Bu da çok güzel ve net bir fotoğraf olmuş. Tebrikler. Mustafa

Dear Professor Atatur,
A look at your portfolio shows a series of well executed photographs of shells of various species of molluscs. As they are studio photographs of the remains of dead animals, I feel they do not come under the category of photographs covered by TN. The same can be said of photographs of set insects from a collection.

TN is about learning about nature through photography. This really means learning about living nature or a living environment where a shell might be a part. It even covers animals in captivity, but studio photographs of shells and fossils in my view are not covered by the spirit of TN.
However on this occasion I give you credit for the fine quality of your illustrations of the shells of molluscs that you display.
I thank you for the critique you gave for my butterfly shot.
With best wishes, Ivan Kruys

Hocam çok güzel. Elinize sağlık.

Yeşil zeminde çok güzel bir Lambis çekimi. Kontrastlık tüm güzelliğini çakarmış kabuğun hocam. Elinize sağlık.

Salam Mehmet,

Just learnt from Ahmet that today is your birthday. I hope it's not too late for me to wish you a very happy birthday from Malaysia.

You have provided unique posts for TN members and furnished them with useful informative notes. I am happy to be able to learn about these shells which somehow just another shell to me before I discovered your gallery. May you have a wonderful day and prosperous year ahead.

Best regards and have a nice day.

Merhaba Mehmet,
what a beautiful image of Lambis shell taken from an excellent POV showing very well the fine details and the bright colours, very good sharpness in a nice composition.
TFS. Best regards.
