Asphodelus aestivus (Çiriş otu)

This beautiful flower can be seen on most of the Mediterranean coasts. Roots and flower stalks can be eaten after boiling. Roots are also used to make a kind of glue that shoemakers use.

Apis mellifera (Balarısı)

The hard working Honey Bee.
