This is the first photo of this species in TN.

Caltha is a small genus of ten species of flowering plants in the family Ranunculaceae

Can be found in Bulgaria, Caucasica, Iran

Minimum elevation: 1750 m.
Max. elevation: 3650 m.

A quite superb Caltha! With very large, almost heart-shaped leaves up to a foot across, and bearing in spring thick-stemmed, deep golden-yellow, saucer-shaped flowers three inches or so across, this is a splendid plant for marshy ground.

greeting lou

Hola Ozgur.
