This is a fine capture of Charaxes jasius as seen with its wings closed from a fine POV with excellent sharpness and colours against a fine OOF natural BG. The composition on the Arbutus unedo leaves is also excellent.

Congratulations for your 1st year anniversary on the site. Your presence and participation have only but given me endless joy as your butterfly images are unbelievably beautiful just as the one you celebrate your birthday with. The Two-tailed Pasha is a colourful butterfly with an assortment of lovely patterns and markings. The shape of its wings is also very delightful and the colours would do a stained glass window proud. It's a pity we don't have these butterflies in our area, or I'd be out after them everyday. This one is indeed a painters dream. Thanks for sharing. Best regards.
