Dryopteris pallida (Bory) Fomin
Plant 60-100 cm. Frond lanceolate, petiole up to 1/3 length of frond; petiole and rachis straw-yellow, sparsely clad with broad, pale-brown, chaffy scales. Lamina 2-pinnate, pinnules entire or pinnatifid, lower pinnae much reduced, rather glaucous. Sori in single rows on either side of pinnule rachis, completely covered at first by rather stout, purplish-brown indusium, indusium and lamina with a few scattered yellow glands or quite glabrous.
Habitat: Mountain slopes, Wet places
Altitude: 200-3000 m
