[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Since this genus of insect has become flavour of the week (do they taste nice I wonder) I offer this picture taken early evening yesterday on the METU campus. I tried to get to the other side so that antennae were not behind the stem, but the light didn't work well - and then it flew off.

I remember how astounded I was when I saw a lacewing for the 1st time, as it wings was just so pretty and delicate to look at. Looking at your image, I can now once again see why I was so amazed at the time as it truly is a remarkable insect. Just love the marble shaped big eye as well. Best regards and thanks for sharing.
