is a common edible mushroom
The oyster mushroom is widespread in many temperate and subtropical forests throughout the world, although it is absent from the Pacific Northwest of North America, being replaced by P. pulmonarius and P. populinus. What a wonderful close-up image of this beautiful oyster mushroom. I would love to try and eat one sometime, but I only eat mushrooms that I am 100% positive of their ID. This particular specimen has a rather unique shape, as it reminds me of a recliner with an umbrella overhead to shade you from the sun:)
I like the low POV you chose and the focus is sharp. The white balance is perfect rendering natural colors and overall composition is very attractive. Great job!!
