[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is another photo of elands (Taurotragus oryx).
I already wrote a lot about this animal with the other eland photo, so here's a bit of complementary infomation.

Elands mainly live in semi-deserts, savannah and grasslands, and they distance themselves from deserts, forests and swamps. They are typical browsers, and they are known to use their horns to bring branches of bushes and shrubs into reach. They can live without open water for long periods, and rely on sort of plants which absorb moisture from the atmosphere at night.

Single young are born anytime of the year. The gestarion period is about 9 months. Calves can run around with the herd whithin a few hours after birth.

Good colours, exposure is spot on, composition is pretty good considering that they are turned away from the camera. Good image...

Félicitations.

Lovely natural colors. I know these animals very well. I like the natural environment in the fram e and even though they are looking away from you the compo works. I would have liked to see some catch-light in the eyes though. Impressive work, I like this a lot.

Nice composition you have here. Eland on the left side leave plenty of room between their heads and the edge of the frame. I like the high horizon line with the green bush. Image is sharp and well exposed.
