So it took you a year and 4 months to get to the desert from arctic :o) I like your POV, composition and the color tones. DOF is very good. So what is the next destination we'll see for tomorrow, a rainforest? TFS
Have a nice day

I find attractive abstractions in this hostile landscape!
Very well exposed image, good textures and details too...

A superb picture, I love the red dunes; looks like a martian landscape! Sharpness and format are excellent. It's a bit tilted down to right or is a real effect?

Hi James. I didn't know there was a whole dune vocabulary! Thanks for the lesson. All that dust in the air makes me nervous for your lens and sensor. I suppose your lenses are pretty well sealed though. I was surprised at how much dust my zoom lens sucked in on my latest trip. Nice sharp shot and a great note...

Glad to see you switching between the icefields and the desert. Works for me. This photo captures the vastness of the desert so well. I like the panoramic format and the color. Your note is very well-written. Regards,

Here are some reasons why I like a lot this photo:
1. excellent panoramic view
2. very good dof
3. vivid colours (even if there is a domination of yellow)
3. very interesting note about dunes
4. place where the picture was taken - Yemen - rarely presented but so interesting and exotic!
5. this picture is really peacefull :)
Summarizing: bravo and many thanks for showing this photo!
