This Bryonia syriaca growing & flowering out of the rocks...and the cyclamen too...with minimal soil...I find it very intriguing!

Bryonia is a genus of flowering plant in the cucumber family. Bryony is its best-known common name. They are native to western Eurasia and adjacent regions, such as North Africa, the Canary Islands and South Asia.

Bryonies are perennial, tendril-climbing, diclinous or dioecious herbs with palmately lobed leaves and flowers in axillary clusters. The fruit is a smooth, globular berry.

Salam Umar,
A fine capture of this species of Bryonia with two cyclamen flowers looking down!
Excellent sharpness, composition and natural colours. The limestone rocks must have a lot of nutrition for these plants!
Thanks and best regards,

Ciao Umar. Great compo. Brilliant colours and good light. Perfect DOF.

Hello Umar,
Excellent clarity and sharpness as usual. This spring I do not have a chance to catch images with wonderful flowers.. I hope to meet some lovely species this summer. Exceptional focus and sharpness.
