Lindenia tetraphylla is a monotypic species in the family Gomphidae belonging to the suborder Anisoptera in the order Odonata1. The species can be migratory. This species is distributed from Central Asia to Iran and Turkey, from western Pakistan to the western Mediterranean. It is also mentioned in Bulgaria. It is a dragonfly that breeds in lakes and rivers with low flow.

I was surprised to see this dragonfly appearing in such a presumably arid area. Excellent detail.

Strange to see this landing on ground, may there is no tree plant or bush, the crisp sharp shot, TFS.
