A Striped Hairstreak feeding on Goldenrod. These are not too uncommon yet they are very smallish, move slowly and methodically, and thus can be very hard to spot.

Hi Derek,the decentralized composition is a bit strange,but the pic is truly interesting to the butterflies fans like me,a very rare specie not often seen on TN,caught with a spectacular quality of detail,colors and exposure,i like it!!! Have a nice day and thanks,Luciano
