“Little Yellow” is the name of this photo taken on a recent trip to Quidi Vidi Lake. This mother is very protective of her young. She’s watching my camera with trepidation. Nature is beautiful.

Hi Jim,

Adorable composition of this mother mallard & her duckling. The plumage contrast between young & old is striking & the calm lake water makes a perfect backdrop for this image.
