this big goose was keeping his eye on me the hole time
it was a very cloudy day and i was having a hard time with the lighting tried many settings on the camera and just didnt get the way i would like

Hi Mike, nice goose you got there. However, I think you should have used a longer exposure time. In my opinion 1/800 is way too short for the 114 mm focal length you used for this photo. Longer exposure would allow for lower ISO settings (less noise) and higher f numbers (sharper images). Maybe 1/180 shutter speed (or longer) would have worked better in this case, with the ISO set at around 200 and then working with the f stop to get the right lighting. Play around with the settings, do a lot of experimenting and have fun shooting!
