A most "unusual" position.
The title seems to "fit" well.
The image itself is a tad out of focus too.
This one looks like it is a MALE HAIRY WOODPECKER.

These little woodpeckers seem to always be on the move in search of insects and larva. A nice frontal shot of this beautiful male as it looks intently for it's next meal.
