Hello friends, not the best image quality but
photo shot with my rugged compact camera.

1/640s f/6.3 ISO400 18mm (35mm eq:100mm).

« The Solitary Sandpiper is commonly seen in migration
along the banks of ponds and creeks. While not truly solitary,
it does not migrate in large flocks the way other shorebirds do.

Breeds in taiga, nesting in trees in deserted songbird nests.
In migration and winter found along freshwater ponds,
stream edges, temporary pools, flooded ditches and fields,
more commonly in wooded regions, less frequently on mudflats
and open marshes. »

Beautifully presented; slightly off centre ... that's GREAT!!!
Loved your notes.
Your images look like PAINTINGS to hang on a wall. YOU HAVE CLASS!!!
Those tiny twigs up front gives it depth === meaning where it lives and feeds and nests!!!
Best man in the business ... you!

Bonjour Asbed,
Je ne la trouve pas mal ton image, la netteé est assez bonne et on distingue bien l'oiseau en plein vol. J'aime toujours quand on voit bien l'environnement aussi.

Hi Asbed,
Another nice capture of a flying bird.
Regards Jiri.

Hello Asbed,
lively documentation showing the sandpiper in flight in its habitat, just as well captured as the photographic equipment at hand would allow. Thank you!
With best regards,

Hi Asbed,
Although the bird is a little far away and too small, I like the composition with the water surface and the well positioned sandpiper. At this moment I'm listening to your fellow countrymates (French Canadian) Voivod's music, being exact the song entitled "Le Pont Noir", and your pic fits to the music perfectly for me. :-) Excuse me for the off topic thoughts, a good in-flight shot with pleasant compo, nice colors and great lights. Very nice photo. Bravo!
Best regards, László

Bonjour Asbed,

Tu as bien capturé l'action de l'oiseau. La prise de vue permet de voir les détailks du Chevalier solitaire. La bonne luminosité met en valeur les couleurs de l'image. Bonne journée.
