[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hello friends. This photo was taken today on Easter Sunday,
March 27, 2016. Today I went to the woods with my
Bobcat Celtick my pointing dog (Griffon Korthals),
my goal was an "Easter Woodcock" I mean by that
a photo of the woodcock camouflaged on the
forest floor, and I had it. :)

As I wrote before that, it takes a pointing dog that
will search, find and then by pointing his head and
nose on a direction indicate that there is a woodcock
or ruffed grouse there.

This woodcock was first searched by Bobcat Celtick
my pointing dog, then found by its nose and pointed it
is that after that with my eyes I search it in the ground
at that direction saw the woodcock and shoot photos.

Hello Asbed,
Your woodcock appears very contented sitting motionless in the warmth of the sun. Your dogs did a great job of pointing it out for you. Funny how they can be only a few feet away and at times it takes a while to find them. Niclely presented in fine detail and natural color. I love viewing animals in their natural habitat like this.
