I actually really like this picture just as it is. The pose of the otter is so dynamic, with his mouth slightly open and his body at a diagonal. The water splashes add to the sense of action. Yet the water ripples provide a crisp background, without distracting from the main focus of the otter, which is captured in very sharp detail. Congratulations!

Hi Luc, I think it's a rather good capture. These scenes need a lot practice and i do not have that experience to tell how to improve this shot. On the other hand this motion blur explains what's happenning very good.

This is a great action shot Luc.You can really see how he tucks in his flippers and streamlines himself.He looks like a rocket or a plane.

Well Luc, I have nothing this nice, I actually have only one, very old slide about 20 years old of an otter on a concrete landing. I love the movement, and his joyful face, a toothy grin, the English would call it.
I think you did very well with the conditions, and the camera.
