Apple tree flower

Here again it’s a high magnification macro. When I saw the small flower I believed it had a lot of potential to make an impressive close-up. Imagine this picture on a wall in a 24x36 inches format (60x90 cm).

What I liked the most was the color contrast. That yellow against the magenta color seemed to work well. But when I saw the tips of the pistils, then I was seduce by the precision Mother Nature can deliver.

In fact the yellow particles are only pollen.

SO! DON’T GET TO CLOSE OF YOU MONITOR IF YOU ARE ALLERGIC ;o)

Another very good example of great macro work Alain. As you wrote - excellent colours and details, great candidate for big format wall picture. I'm allergic but this time I'm not afraid ;-) Thank you for sharing!

Hi Alain, its a good shot spoiled by a bad choice of frame IMO. I do agree that the colours of flower and pollen work very well. Wonders of nature in small details. Very well done.

Lovely macro, Alain. I love the contrast of fuschia and yellow, great detail on the stamens. Good frame too!

Very close and very colorful. This is a nice macro, although DOF is a little shallow ... TFS!
