Hi Rick,
Too bad we weren't neighbors today - what a contrast that would have been. I wish I could have seen this show the Cranes put on but I would probably be too frozen to snap a picture. I can see the wind blowing. Beautiful shot and your title is perfect. Great poses, details and winter colors.

Awesome shot Rick. I would love to see a pair of these birds like this, no matter what the weather was like. It looks a little dark, and it might have been that way with the weather, but I thought I'd play with it a bit in the sandbox to give you another option.
Thanks, John

Hello Rick, very nice picture with a wide frame, I like it. As usual, your subtle natural colours are superb even though the light is dim, as you tell us. Yet it is sharp, detailed and the pose of the two birds is quite funny with the title. It must be quite a show to observe, wow! Thank you again for sharing your great expeditions with us.

Hi Rick,
I can believe that this was quite a spectacle that you observed. I never have the chance to see those elegant birds in real
Looking at this behavior, I guess that spring will soon reach your part of the country as well soon. This almost monochrome capture looks like a movie scene. Thanks for the beautiful notes and moment,
Claudine

Hi Rick
I will never complain about our weather again!!
Great pose and excellent exposure control. This reminds me of Hokkaido - but that was January!!
