This is an older shot of some wonderful singers . These guys are one of my favorite subjects , and I wish I could post an mp3 with this photo . This guy was joyfully singing his little heart out when I caught him .

Hi Kevin
I think this is a Meadow Lark. They have the most beautiful song. Nicely captured with his beak wide open singing a song. Nice detail and colour.

Hi Kevin.- I like this photo of this "Western Meadowlark" Sturnella neglacta. And you are right, this guys sing very loud and clear and very nice. Luis52.

Hi Kevin,
This is a beautiful bird and I would love to hear his song again. I used to see these often when I was growing up in the country. I really like the birds you don't see every day like this.
The photo is excellent. You captured the colors well. I like that you caught him with beak open in mid-song.
I did a workshop to remove the slight bit of noise and also adjusted the contrast slightly.

You caught it in a good time with beak wide open. I like the perch position, and the dof.

I love pictures of singing bird, they are so totally involved in singing, they're so passionate about it, makes you feel like doing the same but here, at work, they wouldn't appreciate, I think. Thanks for sharing this picture,
Francine
