Happy New Year!

I took this photo on New Years Day during a hike. There is no snow and the temperature was +5C or 40 F. It's hard to believe the new year rolled in so warm. Environment Canada has said that temperatures have been 3 degrees warmer than average so far for the year. I think global warming has something to do it.

I was standing at the bottom of a cliff looking up when I took this shot. I thought the sky looked so blue and the pine tree at the top so stately against the sandstone rock.

Hi Janice,
Unusual and lovely weather for that time of year. I would lovesome weather like that right now. 100f hot and very humid. Heat idex will be about 118 today with bad air quality. This is such a refreshing scene. Beautiful colors and good detail. I'll trade you???
