A magnificent capture indeed, Denis! I am enjoying so much the beauty of the Elk, the pine trees in the background and the simplicity as an all in this frame. The use of f/8 seems fantastic as well, the body of the animal is perfectly covered in pin sharp focus. However I think that you have used the shadow/highlight tool a bit forcefully, and as a result of that the deep shadows has been destroyed and the image is looking a bit flat ...perhaps a bit two dimensional, if I may say that. Agree? On top of that my personal opinion is that you could adjust a bit more carefully the white balance here. Unfortunately in my workshop I couldn't recover fully those shadows, but perhaps can give you an idea about the direction I am going with this changes.Thanks for sharing Denis..this is a magnificent capture indeed!

What a majestic beast you have captured here. The background is so reminiscent of that region portrayed famously in Canadian Pacific Posters/Adverts of yore. Perfect focus & choice POV - especially so for the rack viewing.
