I can't help you with identification but I can say that you capture this bird with great details. Very well done, sharp image, perfect focus and natural colors.
Just looked at the gallery and saw this fine shot. Yes I agree this is a Vesper's Sparrow, you can just make out the white outer tail feathers that are conspicuous when it flies. This is a Canadian breeding bird found in open country.
An excellent image taken from a great POV with fine sharpness against a neutral BG.

You are right saying all the things about people from here, all linked by the common passion for NATURE. And the fact is that all of us we have only to gain from this site: advisees, maybe for some fame, more other things, but not in the last, friends!

What a great photo from You. I think I have seen before but not to sure, any way the pose and BG are just perfect and it also has great sharpness and light.

Hi Rick. As you say this is what TN is all about showing your pictures ,makng comments and getting help. You were able to take a fine close up of this cute little bird .Which you have taken with fine detail and natural colours. Your sde view shws the markings so well against the plain BG. well done TFS.

I guess there is no end to the Sparrow family - it is nice to see this Vesper for the first time. A wonderful capture of this bird in a fine pose. Lovely natural colors, sharp details, beautiful background and a wonderful composition.
