nice composition and color, the focus looks a little soft on the birds though

Hello Dave,
Nice to see a shot of the American Avocet and the Ring-billed (not Common) Gull together. Both are sharp and well composed but the image slopes to make the gull lean back in an unnatural way. So I've taken it to the WS to show you what I mean.
Thanks for sharing what is otherwise a fine shot with your new lens,
