|I spotted a Mallard mom and her brood at the lake, this little guy was basking in the evening sun.|
Perfect title for this little fuzzy one. Although alone, I think it really is an indicator of how fragile these youngsters are -though Mama isn't far away!
I like the exposure here, the details of his entire body - not to mention those webbed feet! For some reason, I am reminded of Dumbo's feet here - I'm sure he'll grow into those feet though!
Thanks for posting this; I don't see a loner very often and it allows for a much better view.

It looks like this guy is thinking of all the great things he'll do once he grows up. The pose makes this a very enjoyable shot. Very nicely done.
