I awoke at 2:30am needing a drink, and saw this...not wanting to wake the others in the house, I grab my camera, leaned into the window, took a deep breath, and held the camera for 2+minutes. The Northern Lights are so incredible, I always feel like I am seeing them for the first time, no matter how often I do see them.
Just thought I share what it looked like from my bedroom this month!

First of all, welcome to TN.
This first picture is really amazing! Great POV (point of viez) and DOF (deep of field). Colours are just great! you have captured an amazing moment. Althogh I love this composition (the house gives a nice atmosphere), I guess TN roules donīt allow buildings and human stuff. Just an advertise for next time.
I hope to see more pics from you soon! Kind regards and TFS! (thanks for sharing)

Hello Judith, and welcome to TN.
I remember viewing the Northern Lights while on a Mission trip to Anzac Canada a few years back. It was one of the most amazing things I have ever seen. Your photo reminds me of how beautiful they were. Thanks you for bringing back some wonderful memories from my trip to Alberta.
