[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Sergeant Randally was the biggest and oldest Yellow Cedar in the book. It fell to the ground a few years back. As the Good Book Says "Where a tree falls there it shall lie." So here is the late Sergeant in all his glory. His remains are located in a Forest Service Recreation Site off the Big Tree Main - Vancovuer Island, British Columbia, Canada. The small Rec. Site is in the middle of an expanding clear cut. The open space around the Rec. Site is causing its towering residents to uproot and drop to the ground in viscious blowdown winds caused by the clear cuts.
