Bald Eagle in Winter
 |
|
[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Yes I'm back to TN for a visit!
Bald eagles are fairly common in my neck of the woods this time of year as the winter salmon runs provide an excellent food source for these majestic birds.
Unfortunately I only had my landscape lens along on this trip, so I couldn't get much of a zoom in.
This was actually shot with my new E-510 (time to update my equipment profile). |

Hi Tim!
Very nice capture, I like animals seen in their environment, expo is fine also, only the writing is a bit big and disturbing. But besides it's a very nice scene with all those layers. TFS!
Best regards,
Andor

Fantastic wointer shot!
Amazing snow and nice composition. It is wonderful even without an eagle, but the bird is great
Glad you stopped by. You have been missed. I like your wintry image. You captured the essence of the moment... color, snow, clouds, and quiet. Do you really think it is necessary with such a low resolution image to watermark that way? What could anyone do with it? I haven't marked any of mine other than on the frame... oh well... too late now.

I've missed your latest posts. I haven't been very active on this site. You've uploaded some wonderful shots lately. This is beautiful. Well composed - well done! Wonderful how the snow defines each limb. Great composition!
