[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I saw this lovely bunch of hellabore along the trail near the bottom. This hellabore was still soaked from a recent rain as well as from the clouds. I had to carefully fanagle a tripod in close enough to get the macro I wanted without disturbing the droplets on the leaves. I particularly liked the criss-cross patterns that this one little grouping of leaves made. Cropped the top 20% off the top, otherwise it's pretty much as shot.

A nice nature study in lines and textures and patterns. Excellent focus. Outstanding edges. Exposure is perfect and that is a really nice natural green with water droplets as a bonus.

A wonderful and original presentation of this hellabore.
I have never heard of that, but I really like the symmetry of your composition.
The green is very vivid, and the drops of water add texture to hhis image.
TFS. : )

Hi Tim, a beautiful shot of these leaves, and I always thought you would have to go to the tropics for shots like this one. The composition works very well with the diverging lines. The colour is very good, but you were right about the drops. They make it.

Thanks, John

J'adore ces macros, riche, sobre, une composition superbe.

Wonderful composition - very artistic!

Hi Tim,
Beautiful composition, I love the contoured layers and the clarity is nice and crisp, the colors are natural and the water droplets acentuate this image even more. Once again beautifully done. :)
