mid-January winds brought these waves to bear upon the rocks along the shore.
Several shots needed before capturing one bursting with such energy.

Dear John!

The play of the waves bursting onthe rocks always is fascinating. This remembers me my childhood when I observed this for the first time with my father. I like the simplicity of your picture and the powerful impression emanating of the water as well as of the rocks.

Kind regards

N.B. I'm so sorry, John, I didn't notice I ran out of smilies!
