[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I love watching the birds at Qualicum Beach. Their behaviour is comical at times as they gather at low tide to find food and mutter at one another as humans do at fast food restaurants.
I like this image for the way the rocks are arranged, the water's neutral colour, and the bird's position.
I included the rocks at the top of the scene for their diagonal line and progressive height, which gives both perspective and a bit of dynamic tension.
The bird's posture — body facing to my right and head turned seaward — also hints of dynamic tension by appearing ready to launch into flight.
The water appears colourless mostly by reflecting the cloudy grey sky of the morning.

Seguro que te tenía muy presente. No creas que ellos se "despistan", está en juego su vida, además, el mar es peligroso y mi padre me enseñó a no darle nunca la espalda. Quizá también a él se lo dijera el suyo.
Saludos John.
