Hi Jean Francois,
I like your choice of B&W here. The diffent shades look great with the silhouetted Heron. Capturing the vegetation in the foreground has added a lot of appeal to the image. Nice.

great composition and color

Hi Jean Francois, this is a refreshing and serene view for a Heron shot. Beautifully rendered, your BW tones and hues work wonderfully. All highlights and contrast is perfect for the scene, lovely and sharp and an excellent POV. Beautiful composition.

This is a very interesting picture. I really like how you use space and compose this picture. well thought out and effective.. the use of black and white is also appropriate, it gives a solemn mood about it. can tell that the details are well done and i like the sunlight casting on the water just where the heron is standing.

excellent shot

Magnifique simple, sobre, très belle composition et toujours cette lumière bien placée sur le sujet.

Hi Jean Francois,
This is a very nice black and white picture.
Great light around the heron. Good composition with the land in front the heron on the left and the water and space in front and the mountain in the back.
Well done.

Salut encore!

This too is a wonderful shot! I like the way you have chosen B&W for the presentation! I like the way you have the heron silhouetted against the light. Great sense of depth!

Amazing eh a river 26 km wide! WOW!

I recall driving from Halifax to Montreal whle my kids were in Uni there... Great drive along the St Laurence Tfs, J.

PS I believe if you flesh out your Note some, we will be able to select "Useful" Right now I do not have the option.
