Alternate title: "The Bride Stripped Bare By Her Bachelor"
molting fur at this time of year, this exceptional trophy Bighorn Ram is wooing the female at the Calgary Zoo.
A close-up view of the same ram, posted earlier, was disallowed (sorry to the guys who critiqued it) because I had also posted a close crop of the head on TL here.
The Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep. While I had encountered these on numerous occasions in the wild here, this speciment has exceptionally large horns, the curl extending well around the eyes, a real trophy ram! Only flaw (not visible in either picture) is that the right horn tip was broken off.

Cropped from a larger view, slight rotation, levels and curves, downsized.

Hi Otto,
Technically, very nice. It is well exposed and sharply focused. The composition leaves me wishing that you had backed off enough to have left a little more space in front of the female, and included the last bit of the male's hind legs.
