| I saw this male duck attack this female one with her babies after she said something to either him or the other female duck he was with. He really didn't like what she said and the attack started. He chased her until she dove under the water. Wicked and long attack it was. It's not the best layed out photo, but I thought I'd post it to show the attack mainly. |

great action capture
Hello Trevor,
I have friend who has ducks and she says that the males are often very aggressive with the females when they want to mate! Maybe she just said NO! I like the water falling from the wings, and the ducks beak open wide. They make the shot seem like a movie! I think I would have cropped closer to the ducks which would have focussed more attention on them.

Great action shot. I agree with Bev (Royaldevon) to crop more of the top in order to focus more attention to the ducks.
