Bonjour Pierre !
Voilà un papillon magnifique, que je n'avais encore jamais vu ! Et la photo est très réusie, avec d'excellents détails, de jolies couleurs sur les ailes du papillon et une très belle composition. Le papillon ressort très bien sur ce fond sombre. Félicitations !

Seems like you're getting the hang of this!
Great details in this little fellow, pattern in the wings come out well thanks to wise use of flash...
Good colour palette, only minor improvement I can think of is a slightly tighter crop!

Nice capture, Pierre! Great subject with symmetry and details on this shot. I agree with Pablo about the tighter crop. And I think the flash did help, but you might try dialing it down a bit (with my D50 from the "pencil" menu, Option #6 is "flash level" that I usually dial down to -1.0 when there is natural light I am trying to balance. Unfortunately the exact level depends on the distance from the subject. But that is a good starting point for these types of shots.)

Hi Pierre, beautiful clear shot of this butterfly, very good colour and detail on the butterfly and leaf. It's an interesting composition with the leaf bisecting the frame, and the butterfly hanging on to this leaf.
