Hi Silke
This landscape is ominous looking with the dark stormy clouds. I love the colour of the blue-grey clouds and all their textures and shapes. The Kawartha Lakes sounds like a very special place to visit reading about the fish and trees that are in the area.

Hi silke. I do love sunsets. this one is good.you always need some clouds which you have captured so well. the colours show many shades of red-orange.. and you have keep the forground in good light. well done TFs.

Hi Silke,
A wonderful almost nocturnal photo where the subtle colors of the setting sun created a great serene mood. It does look like rain was on it way to ruin the beaty. The hint of green in the grasses and trees are perfect and the reflection of the sky on the lake is stunning.

Dramatic sunset, Silke. Classic composition with the horizon at the bottom third and the beautiful sky taking up the other two thirds as it should. The colours and light are great not only in the sky but also on the lake. Your exposure gave you good detail in the dark area, which added depth to your image. Well done.

Great job here, interesting clouds and color in your sunset sky.
A pleasing composition, I like it..
I haven't used it much myself, but you might've considered bracketing a few exposures, one set for the land, one for the sky, and merging them with software in PS. Just a thought...This works too :)
