Just another view of this interesting spider. I believe this is a better view of the spider. I pushed the Fstop all the way to F9.0 which is all I can get with this set up.
The method of how I did this is in yesterday's posting.
Hand held the Fuji S5000 with binocular lens x2 taped together at a distance of 2 centimeters.
1/60 at F9.0

CCD-RAW
ISO 200

Fantastyczne makro, dobra ostro¶æ i kompozycja. Dobrze zrobione.

I like this one better than the other, although the DOF still leaves a little to be desired (don't quote me on that though...I don't know what I'm talking about).
A lovely shot of old hairylegs though.
Good stuff.

Well Mike it's really getting better all the time. Very nice details on the spiders head. This must be a very small specimen. It will be a good idea to write the size of the insects we shoot which I allways neglect.
Thanks for sharing.

Another very good one showing the amazing eyes - some of them - of this spider.

Excellent Mike. Really great colours and the dof is spot on - I really like the fading of the hind body. Perfect composition.

Mike, so this is your spider. Indeed, a great pov and composition.

I like spiders, and this is no exception.

Great sharpness and nice brownish shades.

Mike you're mastering binocular photography pretty well. This one is very good. Great POV and shapness. Il like to see the details on the legs. Very well done.

It's so hairy it could get turned into a soft toy but it's a bit too ugly - the spider that is. As far as the shot goes - great composition and details.
Well done.
Toni

And I thought you were kidding... I should have known.
These are wonderful photos, especially this one of your zebra jumping spider. Remind me not to move to Manitoulin Island. I like your technique, do you think this would work with my camera?
Good composition. too much detail, oops, I meant, good detail. All kidding aside, well done Mike!
Thanks for sharing.

I am very impressed by this image (I wish it was mine). The composition is excellent and so is the sharpness. You were so close that he could have jumped over you.

Very well done and thanks for posting

Amazing, what a face! Just a superb close up Mike. Amazing detail. Well done!

VEry good composition, very good result with your home made lens.
Good details, POV and colours.
Well done.
TFS.

Mike its realy interesting to keep up with these experiments and to see the limitations of the DOF and how they differ from one configuration to the next. The details are really impressive here and the DOF is just where it should be. Very nice shot of this salty. Congrats. I think this combination is the best so far given the subject and size of the DOF.

My mouth just dropped open. This is a fantastic macro shot of the spider. The eyes are so clear and well focused. It's as good as Paul takes. Well done Mike.
