[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This was a shot taken within a nature reserve in the city of Red Deer.
The beavers had chewed down this tree and the stump has been weathered over the years. A sharp contrast to the autumn colours in the rest of the photography.

I did some editing to enhance the colours in the background. It was taken on a sunny day around 1 pm.

My goal with this shot was to emphasize the contrast between the colours and the non colour but textureof the stump.

Hello Synevja
Welcome to TrekNature
You've capture very nice fall colours and textures. The old stump add a bit of interest your image. The lighting is a bit on the harsh side but still you've brought out the very nice colours of autumn.
Thanks for sharing (TFS) Janice

Love the colors, textures and the play with light and shadows. Very nice pov TFS
