hello yesturdays pic that i posted, they where fights
between wood ducks males for one female,
my title was « i will not join to your fights »
but in his critiques RP1 (Roger Proulx)
give it another title in french « le triangle amoureux »
thanks to Roger, next time if i will do a photo
like yesturdays posting the title will be
« love relationship triangle » « le triangle amoureux »

for todays pic my title was already decided
to be « The couple », but after reading
Bob's (eqshannon) critique, i decide to change the tilte,
the new title is « peace and love »

here some words fron Bob's critique :

« I say this with a smile...I am not much of a fighter
and when there is a fight, I go away...»

«...wish everyone in the world felt this way....
we would have no wars and when they happened
we could laugh and they would stop...»

Bob, in this image where there is tenderness,
in this image where there is serenity
in this where there is peace, and where there is love
between the couple of wood duck,
this image that before your critique
the title that i want to give was « The couple »
after reading your critique i changed the tilte
the new title « peace and love »

and i dedicate this image for you my good friend Bob

this image too is shoot'n at a speed of 1/1600s
you ask why, it is because you never kno when
the fights between the male start or you never
kno when they decide to takeoff, so the shutter
speed always at 1/1600s i am ready too shoot them

the shutter speed at 1/1600s specialy when
i don't have image stabilizer in my camera

in my yesturdays posted image i was still
at ISO200, in this photo i am at ISO400
it is around that time that i start to
shoot at ISO400 and i never changed

Bonsoir Asbed,

Bravo pour cette belle capture. Tu démentis le dicton, un vaut mieux que deux tu l'auras.

Merci.
Joseph

I am deeply humbled that you read some positive things in my message. You know we have a wooden carved heart on a dowel or stick here at the house. We used that stick every night before bed in the wilderness.....We put it up and all the kids would touch it with their palms..and say "Good night. Peace and Love". And in our heart, collectively as a large family and individually in their own families, they carry this message on...

Now...you image is a fine one and of course has some of my favorites..anything as good and sharp and a cannard...or perhaps a chick a dee...those have to go a long way before I would ever say anything bad about them....and perhaps it is because you brought up the subject...or perhaps it was what was in your spirit when you took this image....I see peace, love and tranquility! And may all see those qualities not only here but in every image they take and post.
Bob

Almost digital art Asbed, I like the mirroring, yes. But concerned with the post processing artifacts, seen on the wings of the left bird and more. Still well composed.

Warm regards,
Kiran

Salut Asbed, et tu cachais ces photos là tout le temps ? :-) Bravo pour cette belle composition, le texte est aussi très intéressant, la qualité globale est superbe, merci !

Mario

Bonsoir Asbed,
Very good capture of this couple.
I like the way they're aligned and its clear reflections on the water.
The good light produced beautiful details and colours on its plumage.
Congratulations and thanks for share it.
My best regards,
JM

Bonjour Asbed,

Une magnifique paire de canards. Dans cette image J'adore les couleurs bien saturées et la composition. La réflexion est aussi excellente.

Merci et félicitations!

Mircea

This is a nice image and a nice note too. I am jealous of this shot. Was it taken in the wild. I can never get close enough to a wood duck to get even a distant shot. It has become a challenge for me. Some day.......maybe. I like the simplicity of the composition. The textures that the reflections add are really nice.

Salut Asbed,
Merci,
Roger

Bonjour Asbed,

Hello Asbed

What a beautiful pair of wood ducks.
The colours are wonderful.
Excellent lighting and reflections.
Very good POV you really get good captures of these beautiful wood ducks.

Rob

The ducks are sharply focussed and good composition. But I think reflection of branches in the water and the branch infront are little distracting. May b u can try cloning it to see the effect. Anyways,.. good wok.

Hi Asbed
Another beautiful shot of the wood ducks. Out of all the ducks the wood duck is my favorite I love the colors of the wood duck. And you did a fantastic job on these two.
