C'est une capture détaillée de ce bel oiseau! J'aime bien cette pose qui même de dos, nous montre son oeil. On sent l'utilisation du flash un peu... L'as-tu pris en RAW? Si oui, j'aurais ajusté la balance de blanc pour le flash pour ainsi lui donner une petite teinte d'orange... C'est bien vu et composé. Merci,

Hi Marie, nice shot of the Hairy Woodpecker. I'm not sure if I've seen these before, or only the Downy. Looks like you've caught him in action which is good. Your definition is very good, looks like he has some ruffled feathers. Nicely done.

It looks a bit ruffled doesn't it and I suppose that is why the name....interesting how many sub species and families..as I grow older and more interested in other things, I have discovered many facets to my own family of humans and now through TN many many more in birds, animals and insect...very nice capture!

Excellent picture of the fine specimen of the woodpecker. I like the scene at whole. Trunk rind creates amazing BG for the beautiful bird. I like wonderful reproduction of the bird feathers and colours, impressive magnification and nice framing. Bravo and best wishes.
