It sounds like you guys had a lot of fun. Going out shooting pictures is great in itself but when you can actually come across interesting birds, it makes it very rewarding.
That is a very cool pose you captured here. Totally different from all the other great pictures of snowy owls we had here in the recent past. Very nicely done!

This is beautiful! What a sweet pose! Wonderful composition - great white against blue. Just fantastic. This one really captured my attention out of the gallery.

This may be one of your best images Asbed...It shows such emotion and caring...this one truly rocks as my kids would say...it does all that it was intended...naturally and emotionally...wow! I am truly impressed. You have come a long way in such a short time!

This is a peculiar pose, seems to be preening.Even something like taking a bow.This seems to be a big owl on very dainty looking branches.Love the blue sky.I didnt get your point of doubling your zoom by using Jpeg.

Hello Asbed. I have seen a few posts here in TN but none is quite interesting as this perch. Excellent exposure of finely captured plumage and details. The spotless blue sky makes a very pleasant background and the twigs are very graphical in this composition. Regards. Jusni

Hello Asbed,
You many not have any green grass but you have this beautiful Owl instead!! Wonderful capture of this one in an angel-like pose. I expect it is preening itself. Excellent sharpness and nice white plumage against the blue sky. Very well composed too.

I was one who was expecting an inflight Cardinal but I'm not disappointed with this lovely Owl. The pose is beautiful - looks like a she because it looks like she is wearing a flowing gown. Beautiful against the blue sky.

Great capture of a Snowy Owl in a fine pose and delicately positioned on the small branches in a fine composition against a blue sky. In Sweden this is a very rare species. So thanks for sharing this fine capture,
