hello, here it is an image of the Ring-billed Gull in low flight,
the river is Rivière-des-Milles-Îles at the north of Laval,
recently i started to do in-flight shots of mallard ducks,
the most important thing is the focus, for the ducks
it is working good, but for the gulls i still have problems
for the focus, this is one rare shot where i did not have problem

and dear friends, please take in consideration
that this image was shot with a small point & shoot camera

from New Hampshire Public Television
Nature Works website, here is some notes
on the Ring-billed Gull

http://www.nhptv.org/natureworks/ringgull.htm

« Range

In North America, the ring-billed gull breeds in the Northwest
from the prairies of Canada south to California. It is also found
in the Great Lakes region, the Canadian Maritimes,
and northern New England. It winters from southern New England
south to Cuba, from the Great Lakes south to the Gulf of Mexico,
and from British Columbia south to Mexico.

Behavior

The ring-billed gull returns to its nesting site well before
it is time to nest to establish its territory. It usually nests in colonies
on islands in lakes with other gulls and terns. A nesting site may
have as many as 1,000 pairs of ring-billed gulls. »

merci

I am left wondering how you got this angle on the bird...It looks like you were on a dock or something and above it somehow...but the grand height or depth is determined by your location!
