[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi All,
On the way home today I had to stop for a small herd of Pronghorn to cross the road. These three females were a part of a herd of about sixty that went on either side of my truck. They had some deep snow in the ditches to cross but the field wasn't too bad. Hope you had a great weekend.

Hi Rick,
Wonderful image, I like a lot seeing these beautiful animals living free and running on snowy soil. Looks like healthy individuals. Action, sharpness, light are just great. 10 points job

hello Rick

beautiful photography shot « sur le vif », with fine POV and DOF,
i love the warm luminosity and colour tones,
and each ones pose of their run, TFS

Hi Rick,

What a shot! Reminds me of shots others have taken of animals in Africa. There is nothing like seeing them running free. The trio of Pronghorns are beautiful. I love the way the two are in tandem and the third is just a bit off. Wonderful colors, details, setting and composition.

Nice title and very right on Rick. As with Ev's photo which I just now addressed and reaffirmed your thoughts, this one pushes the button the other way...it reminds me.. and for Ev as well and your emotive image:

Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
-Dylan Thomas

great capture, TFS Ori

Hello Rick

A wonderful capture of these three as they seem to run in unison.
The setting is magnificent with beautiful lighting and colours.
The grasses seem to flow across the snowy setting and the Pronghorns are against the grain so to speak.
Wonderful sharpness and focus.

Pronghorns - what strange animals they are Rick. I don't think I have seen or heard of them before.
They seem to be made up of bits and pieces of other animals :) How lovely to see them like this

Hi Rick,

Nice shot of the pronghorns. Like the POV.

Hi Rick!

There's a special atmosphere of this shot, somehow the subjects seem to fit perfectly into this environment, the whole thing is so balanced. I love the lighting on the scene as well. And what's more I think I've never seen one of these animals :) So TFS!
