Hello Janice,
It has been a long time since I have seen one of your posts.
Brrr... Is this really Spring? I'm glad I live south of your location!!!
I like the river and trees, you have captured the elements excellently.
Hope you have a warmer week, maybe just rain...
Steve

you put a smile on my face because spring can look like this here too! And the winter has been cold, cold coming from west ;-) Here, in the mountains, the snow is still here but we had great weather even though it's colder since the past week. But we haven't had so much sunshine in years, including summer! I like the small specks of snow in your picture and the colour of the light, it is very natural. It's a black and white world that's gonna turn colourful and so lively within a few weeks. Thank you!

Sounds like typical Alberta weather. Looks to me a bit underexposed and the white balance slightly off (should be whiter). This image though is a good depiction of how winter can come and go this time of year.

Hi Janice , a nice view of our recent weather , I got to work overnight and watch as the snow piled up on the streets here in High River. I agree , it is welcome moisture , though it was hardly very dry here , it will help to raise river levels and break up the last of winter ice , and also help to fill some of the many ponds that dry up in autumn time. my favorite is when such March/ April snow falls melt away to reveal that the green grass has sprouted up under that white blanket , kind of like wrapping paper on springs first gift :-)

Hi Janice
the photo is a beautiful!!
;*
Hi Janice,
Looks like you can keep your weather, lol, we just got rain. Really I love spring snow storms, as they usually bring lots of moisture to wash the winters dirt off. This is a great image showing natures sense of humor in Alberta. Just when you think spring is here, bam think again. Lucy had me loading the trailer the day before, she wants to get camping in the worst way.
Thanks for sharing this great image my friend.

I wonder how spring could be, under snow!
A superb shot, Janice!
I love the perfection in your balance of the elements in this shot, the earth, the sky, and water!
Very well done, indeed!
