[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
We took a day to spend down at the bird sanctuary in Boundary Bay just outside Tsawassen. The tide was heading out and flocks of sandpipers were moving in to feed.
Fortunately these birds if you are patient can be fairly approachable. This lone fella was quite photogenic.

Hello Tim
Beautiful photo of this Sandpiper with great sharpness and detail. Nice natural colors and a great reflection in the water. TFS

That is one fine camera with some good glass there Tim......I think it may be environmental as per their attitude...I find them somewhat skittish but once in a while...at low time mostly...they look pretty intent on finding something...guess this one was too busy and simply didn't care...but gave you a nice reflection shot ...

Hi Tim , a very nice photo of this sandpiper , with good sharp detail , nice natural color , and a great reflection. I also like the water ripple where I imagine it has just dipped it's bill. One thing I notice is the composition has the bird placed a bit towards the left of the frame.

Hallo Tim
Bravo for your note on your intropage. It’s always wonderful to hear about other people’s passion for our Creator and who is not ashamed to talk about Him.
This image of the Wading Sandpiper is beautiful. The details captured on both the bird and the mirror image is just great. I just love the stillness of the water, with only a few ripples where the bird is moving and then the tiny circle in the front of the bird, where I am sure a water droplet from its beak must have dropped down. Lovely portrayal of the details of the feathers and of course the flashlight in the eye could not be missed. Best regards and thanks for sharing.
