hello friends, this Mallard Duck it is
giving me the impression that he is
on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle

the photo of today was shot
my Fujifilm bridge camera in RAW,
ISO400, Flash, Flash correction + o.7

from the Hinterland Who's Who website :

« In eastern Canada, Mallards are thriving.
Abundant nesting cover in abandoned farmlands,
forest clear-cuts, and city green spaces has helped
Mallard populations expand. Mallards easily hybridize,
or interbreed, with the closely related
American Black Duck. Because of the dramatic
increase in Mallards, such hybridization has posed
a significant problem to maintaining
American Black Duck populations. »

Bravo, Asbed.
Once more terrific in-flight picture from you taken at amazing POV. Exposure parameters are simply great. You managed to freeze the moment of the bird and attractive waves on the water surface. Lights and colours are so perfect as other components of the picture. My congratulations and TFS.

Hello Asbed,
A superb in-flight capture of a Mallard drake.
The sharpness, timing and composition are great but most of all I like the POV from above showing the iridescent green and blue. This is what make this a different mallard image.

Hello Asbed,
a very great picture of the male Mallard Duck taken from an excellent POV with superb sharpness, i like this very nice composition with the bird in-fligt against a splendid neutral BG, the small waves are very beautiful.
Best regards

What a lovely shot of this mallard in flight, Asbed.

Hi Asbed,

I can see how what makes you think of this Mallard being on a motorcycle. I'm not so sure about that but I am sure that this is a magnificent shot of him in flight. Colors are marvelous. The details of his face, eye, and wings are wonderful. You captured him in a terrific position and even the water looks interesting. I've said this often lately but - one of your best.

I don't think the dock would like to ride a motorcycle. However your story is a very good one. The image is as good as you do. It is always a pleasure to see your images. This is my favorite duck. I think in France they are called canard. Am I right?

hi Asbed
up site down your glance, fine POV in order to you see such beautiful scene, very fine photo

Such a beautiful capture of a mallard on the wing Asbed, the water skimming bird is obviously in motion, thanks to your well chosen exp. speed. The reproduction of the natural colours makes this a fine image indeed!

Bonjour Asbed,

Ce vcanard colvert en vol est impressionnant. La prise de vue permet de voir avec précision les détails et les couleurs du canard. Il est bien cadré dans la composition. La qualité de la lumière rehausse les couleurs de l'image. Bonne journée.

Hi Asbed.

A good shot of a speeding duck. Good focus and dof. The action was well stopped just showing movement of the wing tip and showing water droplets at the rear. Good colours. TFS

Regards Bill

bonjour Asbed

Hello Asbed,
A very fine in-flight capture of a Mallard. You managed to get it nicely in focus and at close range. It looks really good against the ripples on the water.
TFS and regards, Ulla

Am so very happy you are a part of TN. Have learnt a lot from you.
Mario from Calgary.

Hello Asbed.
Love the framing like this duck is gliding through the thin air. Interesting to note your analogy with great super-bike maker.
Nicely done and thanks for sharing.
