of Ranger pointing this American Woodcock
for Ranger's photo click on this link

i want also put a photo of my first pointing dog
Celtick pointing a Woodcock in october 2004,
Celtick closed his eyes for ever the April 13 2009
for Celtick's photo click on this link

my CeltickRanger name come
from my 2 pointing dogs names

from the All About Birds website

« A shorebird that lives in forests,
the American Woodcock is most frequently
encountered at dusk when the male's chirping,
peenting aerial displays attract attention.
Otherwise the superbly camouflaged bird
is difficult to discover on the forest floor
where it probes for earthworms. »

Merci

Asbed

Hello Asbed
Very nice photo of this in-flight Woodcock. Good sharpness, natural colours and POV. Special BG.

Bonjour Asbed,

Michel

Ps. sorry i consumed my daily reserved smiles early! Hope you do not mind this!

Hello Asbed friend,
Another photo filled with nature, in this light looks more complex, but equally well managed. However, the bird is a little hard to figure! its position in flight is difficult.
I saw the photos of Celtick and Ranger... I regret the demise of Celtick, but that's the law of life. There are good memories. Thanks for sharing ...
Jesús

I like to see beautiful forest...Very nice composition and good catch...Well presented..Merci for share.

Hi Asbed,
i like the feel of this shot alot, amongst all the trees. The splash of yellow from the leaves adds some nice colours too, well done.

Bonjour Asbed,

Pierre
