The Owl butterfly is not an easy species to photograph, even in a butterfly house. This is a one of the best shots of that I have seen. Technically it is great and the colours and BG excellent.

How I would love to see an Owl Butterfly! It's easy to see how the species got its name. A marvelous position showing off both sides of the wings and fantastic details of the entire butterfly. I love the lighting and the composition.

Bonjour Mario,

La prise de vue rapprochée permet de voir les détails et les couleurs du papillon. Le flou de lNarrière-plan met en évidence l'insecte. Le sujet est bien cadré. La lumière environnante a un bel effet sur les couleurs. Bonne journée.

Very interesting butterfly species, the "eyes" on its wings are really similar to owl's eyes :)
