I agree with you here Asbed, we do not have a destructive background, that's why any aperture settings could be used, as long as the shutter speed is high enough to freeze the flight of this juvenile Great Black-backed Gull. Correct exposition and well balanced brightness and contrast despite the noisy background which I suspect is not your fault, and rather some limitations of the hardware. Have a nice day!

Hi Asbed,
this is a beauty in flight. The blue sky as its background is so lovely. The details of the bird is very well seen, and I like to see the lines of the feathers on its wings.
A well presented shot in good composition.

Hi Asbed,
another good shot. Interesting point of view. It looks like a landing aircraft. Beautiful colours of sky. Good sharpness.
Thanks for sharing.

Hello Asbed,
An Excellent capture of a Larus marinus in its 2nd year.
The POV from below shows its features well with fine sharpness against a clear blue sky and the composition is perfect.
Thanks and kind regards,

Hello Asbed,
Nice photo of this gull in flight. Beautiful light and good sharpness in a fine composition.

Hi Asbed,
I think difficult take birds photo.
You are very good take picture.
very well.

Bonjour Asbed,

Hi, dear Asbed.
Thanks for your kind words to my last post as well as for your impressive in-flight pictures. Classic shot of a seagull at classic wingspread. Excellent freezing the flight, fine colours and very good composition. TFS and warm greetings.

Hello Asbed.
I like this full spreading wings against the spotless blue sky. The light catching on the feather is fabulous.
Thanks and kind regards,
